Legal basis: your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b) GDPR). Purpose: to provide the service, issue the certificate or report, and invoice. Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legal and tax obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Retention: for the duration of the assignment and, afterwards, for the legally required periods (generally up to 6 years for accounting and tax records). I keep a copy of the photographs of the certified item so that the certificate can be verified in the future.

The verifier shows the certificate number, the description of the item and the date of issue. It does not show any owner data. Legal basis: legitimate interest in preventing forgery of the certificates and protecting buyers (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
