This notice governs the use of certificateofauthenticityvs.online and its Spanish version certificadodeautenticidadvs.es, and tells you who is behind them, in accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE).
This English text is a translation provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.

2. Purpose and acceptance
This website provides information about the authentication of signatures and documents, guidance tools (the quick check and the certificate verifier), informative content and the option to request a quote. By browsing it you accept this legal notice.
3. Terms of use
You agree to use the website lawfully and not to:
- Use it for unlawful purposes or in ways that may harm the owner or third parties.
- Introduce viruses or systems that may damage the website or other people's equipment.
- Send third-party data or images through the forms without legitimate grounds, or send false information.
- Query the verifier in bulk or by automated means.
4. Scope of the certificates and the content
VS Certificates record the examiner's technical opinion on the item examined, with the scope and limitations stated in each certificate. They are not valuations or official documents, and they do not replace an expert report in court proceedings.
The digital-only certificate is based on photographs supplied by the client and has a limited scope: it does not allow stroke pressure, ink or paper to be examined. Its conclusion refers exclusively to the images examined.
The verifier shows whether a number appears in the register of issued certificates. The validity of a certificate refers only to the item described in it. The quick check and the articles are for guidance and information only.
5. Intellectual and industrial property
The texts, designs, the "Verum Signature" brand and seal, the design of the certificates, the code and other content belong to Juan García Nicolás or are used with permission. Their reproduction, distribution or transformation without written authorisation is prohibited, except for brief quotations with acknowledgement of the source. Reproducing or imitating a VS Certificate may constitute the criminal offence of forgery.
Images of historical signatures and documents are reproduced for the purposes of analysis and teaching. If you believe an image infringes your rights, please write to us and we will review it immediately.
6. Liability
The owner endeavours to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date, but accepts no liability for decisions taken on the basis of the informative content or the quick check, or for service interruptions due to technical causes beyond the owner's control.
7. Links
The website links to other websites of the same owner (aprendegrafologia.com, autographsandmilitaria.com and analisisgrafologico.online) and to third-party websites, for whose content the owner is not responsible.
8. Data protection and cookies
The processing of your data is governed by the privacy policy and the use of cookies by the cookie policy.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
This notice is governed by Spanish law. Any dispute shall be submitted to the courts that have jurisdiction under the law; where the user is a consumer, the courts of the user's place of residence shall have jurisdiction.
